General Schedule of Activities

The ONF AppFest starts on Monday, May 16th, with most of the day's activities being a setup day. To register for the AppFest please see https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2016-onfossdn-appfest-registration-20740087159. On Tuesday, May 17th, we will start the interop, performance, application and device conformance testing. On Thursday, May 19th, we will have a special "SDN TestEXPO" event, open to the public, press and analyst communities. Friday, May 18th will be tear down and shipping, but on the morning of the 18th will will announce our prize winners. More details to come...start spreading the word!

he facility plays host to the leading standards and technical groups around the world,
and will be an excellent place to debut your SDN applications. 


Registration

Registration is free and open to the public (as long as you are materially participating in the event--with software, SDN switches or controllers, or applications). a special registration for members of the media will soon be available.

Costs

Participants are responsible for all their expenses (meals, travel, meals not identified on the schedule, etc.). A list of hotels an other accomodations is below.

Onsite Dining Arrangements

A lot of your dining needs are already included! A continental breakfast, afternoon snacks, beverages and a catered lunch will be provided onsite during the event. The Wednesday night party is free of charge, and will be hosted at a local restaurant.

Press Announcements, Releases

A summary press release will be published by Open Networking Foundation, listing all company participants. All winning entries will be published in the release, and a special awards page (with links to your project) will be posted on the HACKFEST and OpenSourceSDN website. Daily press meetings via WebEx will also be hosted live at the event. For more details or to register, please send e-mail to sdnhack@opennetworking.org

Equipment Shipping Information

All equipment must be shipped to the University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory to arrive no later than Friday, May 13th prior to the start of the event. There is NO Saturday or Sunday delivery service available. 
Companies shipping equipment to the UNH-IOL are required to cover all shipping and customs/duties costs. Failure to do so will require the University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory to bill the participating company for any outstanding shipping and customs/duties charges plus a one hundred dollar ($100.00 USD) handling fee.

•    No collect shipments will be accepted, and all shipping fees, including U.S. Customs charges, are the responsibility of the shipper. UNH-IOL will NOT pay for U.S. Customs charges, and prepayment of Customs charges is required.
•    Please remember that international shipments must be cleared through U.S. Customs, which could take up to a week of additional time in shipping.
•    Equipment presently housed at the UNH-IOL facility will be available for use during the AppFest, provided that it is registered prior to the event.
