Are you pursuing a degree in technology, engineering, or science*? Want to showcase your programming prowess? The Challenge uses the Rocket MultiValue Application Platform, which combines an embedded database and development platform so you can easily create applications with the flexibility, innovation, and performance today’s applications require. 

Not familiar with MultiValue? Not a problem. We provide the database and tools, and loads of resources, so you can hit the ground running. All you need to do is apply your ingenuity and desire to succeed.

This year, the theme for your application is, “Improve Your Community.”

1st place - Cash prizes

There are three regional contests: Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Americas. In April 2019, three winners will be selected from each region and will be rewarded a cash prize. The third prize winner in each region will receive $1,000 USD, second place $2,500 USD, and the first-place winner will receive $5,000 USD. In addition, each of the nine winners will travel, expenses-paid, to Massachusetts in June of 2019 for Rocket.Build 2019, where they will see some of the world’s leading programmers in action. While at Rocket.Build, the regional winners will compete in the final round of the Rocket APT Challenge to decide the global winner, the winning team (of 3) splits the grand prize of $24,000 USD.
